- Singing Unit
Our singing unit is made up of professional singers and entertainers who will teach students technical hints and tips and also encourage an emotionally centered connection to what they are singing. Instructors work on developing solid technique but also put a stronger emphasis on the ‘Inner singer’, what are you saying and how are you saying it.
The objectives are very similar in most performing arts genres, whether you are a singer, dancer, actor, you are all telling a story through a different medium. The greatest performers always have an emotional connection to the song they are singing and thus allow the audience to connect with the performer to share their experience. Students will not only be taken through scales, correct breathing and vocal projection techniques but also stage presence, communicating passion and microphone etiquette. Songs will be taken from the popular main stream media of the time.
- Dance Unit
Heading up our dance unit are professional dancers and choreographers that will take students through the latest dance moves, exciting dance routines, gain experience in collaborating on and performing in a professional show.
For younger students combination of games, collaboration, rehearsal and performance, all contribute to keeping the kids engaged and feeling part of the group.
