Alice
Experience the magic of 'Alice', a thrilling new production by Rushcutter Entertainment! This dynamic Australian production company, founded by a talented group of young creatives, presents a unique interpretation of 'Alice's Adventures In Wonderland'. Created by Kirby Myers, a graduate of Charles Sturt University Theatre/Media and a remarkable physical theatre performer, and directed by the skilled stage combatant and leading young choreographer Richard Lovegrove, 'Alice' brings together a vibrant cast and crew to breathe fresh life into this timeless classic. Prepare to be amazed as the show combines physical theatre, trapeze artistry, stilt walkers, acrobats, jugglers, combat artists, and dancers. This high-energy, fast-paced performance offers a fun and refreshing take on a beloved childhood story, captivating both teenagers and adults. The role of 'Alice' is brought to life by the talented young musician, composer, and performer Annaliese Szota. With her delicate blend of wide-eyed youth and quiet quirkiness, Annaliese provides audiences with an authentic point of reference within the whimsical and absurd dream world of Wonderland. At just 23 years old, Annaliese has already proven herself as a seasoned performer, having participated in an experimental theatre festival in Hanoi, the renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and Darlinghurst Theatre Company's production of "As Bees in Honey Drown". Additionally, she has showcased her own compositions at popular music venues across Sydney and the South Coast. 'Alice' takes you on a captivating journey down the rabbit hole, where you'll encounter drunken gun-toting rabbits, a dismembered Cheshire cat, and an egocentric Queen. This is not your typical fairytale! Don't miss this limited engagement of only five shows, from Thursday, November 19th, to Sunday, November 22nd, at the Cleveland St Theatre in Sydney Central. There will be an additional matinee show on Saturday at 2pm. Secure your tickets now at www.actt.edu.au. For more information about Rushcutter Entertainment, visit www.rushcutterentertainment.com.
