What happens Under the Covers doesn’t always stay under the covers. Never has this been truer than each Thursday evening when Richard Lovegrove (QUIZarenaLIVE) joins me in bed for the adult-only content show, Under the Covers.
I can hear you now; “What is Under the Covers?”
Under the Covers is a spinoff from QUIZarenaLIVE, in which Richard Lovegrove and I review X-rated parody content as though it were mainstream film. We cover everything you’d expect from a regular movie review; performances (if you know what I mean), set design, costuming (when there are costumes), writing (apparently dialogue is a thing), direction, and visual effects. We also include conversations about sexual gratification in our ratings. Not only do we rank the movies out of 10, but we include a splash factor rating out of 5 for how sexually pleasing the movie is.
Originally mentioned on air as a joke by yours truly, Under the Covers became a reality on February 3rd, 2022, starting with the horror parody, The Human Sexipede. The in-depth discussion about the film leads us on a quest to find the ultimate porn parody film that delivers not only on the sexual content, but for the engagement in the plot and the character development. This has led us to explore many different parodies including that of Halloween, Top Gun, Spider-man, Dracula, and even Ghostbusters.
“But Rhiannon, where can we see Under the Covers?”
Under the Covers is available through Patreon and requires a monthly subscription. Because the content is NSFW at the best of times as we do show clips from the films we’re discussing, we require a membership to access the show.
